FISHING RESERVE "VILLAGONZALO II"

Description of the fishing area:

The only preserve in all of Spain to fish Hucho, incredible space for sport fishing where you will find fish over 70 cm, the Villagonzalo reserve is one of the emblematic places due to its incredible fishes, you will enjoy an unbeatable environment and boards in the river, an experience that you will never forget. Huge Huchos! Tormes river salmon. the best fishing fights. Prepare good fishing lines, the battle will be tough.

One of the preserves with funny fly fishing on the surface, only a few rivers of Spain offers you this type of fishing like the Tormes reserve, during 9 km stretch with very different fishing scenarios and an unbeatable environment for trout fishing, with a very high fish population, you will enjoy both small trout and large trout, an unforgettable experience. You will allways remember the Tormes preserve and you will want to repeat for sure!

Description of Casa Rural del Tormes

This cute country house has been built in the town of Puente del Congosto, located in the heart of Salamanca..

A house that looks like raised stone by stone, taking care about all details. The different options offered by are designed for a maximum of 8 guests. Everything its included, from basic elements for absolute comfort to some parts that have been strategically placed so you feel better than in your own home..

As soon as you enter the house you will see the kitchen and the living room with wide space:

The kitchen is designed just for you. It doesn’t matter if you come for a weekend or to spend a good holidays, everything has been studied thoroughly.

The dining area is joined to the kitchen by the breakfast bar, with a wooden table where you can enjoy all the best moments. This part limits by a lounge area with comfortable armchairs so you can rest enjoying the TV.

Each bedroom has a bathroom. In our house we believe that, to make your stay really pleasant, you deserve to enjoy the best comforts in your own room. That’s why all our bedrooms includes suite bathrooms with wonderful hydromassage showers. You will simply want to stay forever.

3 double rooms, amazing and decorated to brings you an atmosphere of relaxation. You can also find a spacious twin bedroom.

Inside the winery area we have created an exclusive living room for giving you good times in the warmth of the stone fireplace

The private courtyard follows the whole house aesthetic, decorated entirely with stone. Enjoy a barbecue cooking authentic delicacies.

Enviroment of Casa Rural del Tormes

Puente del Congosto is an authentic natural wonder with the Tormes River passing close.

The mountains of Gredos are located a few kilometers away this beautiful town.

The mountain chain of Béjar is fully of amazing places. El Castañar de Béjar is one of the villages that you shouldn’t miss. La Ermita del Castañar is a must visit if you pass through this area.

The old town of Béjar is a real wonder too. Its walls remains raised surrounding the place becoming it a very special city.

We have a team of competition fishermen, wich who you will enjoy a special experience on the river. Professionals who knows perfectly the river and the best places of each different areas of Salamanca and will advise you about the flies to use and the most appropriate techniques at each times.

TRANSFER SERVICE TO FISHING AREAS

This service allows you to not worry about anything, we will pick you up at the accommodation at the agreed time that fits your needs and we will take you to the fishing areas, we will make the transfers to the lunching areas, either just in the river or restaurant, and at the end of the day we will take you to your accommodation.

FLY FISHING EQUIPMENT FOR RENTAL OR SALE

This service allows you to rental professional equipment for fly fishing, high competition rods, accessories and other necessary stuff for the practice of fishing, dry flies, nymphs, etc.
